Floras Lake is located on the Southern Oregon Coast about 1 1/2 hours drive from the California Border. The Lake is situated next to the Ocean so visitors have the best of both worlds: many fun things to do on the lake and within minutes of walking on the beach. The expansive coastline that borders Floras Lake has been referred to as “Oregon loneliest Beach” by Sunset Magazine.

The lake is shallow, which means that it warms quickly in the summer, yet it is located along the coast which means hearty afternoon winds. 

The Floras Lake Getaway is situated in the more wind protected area of the lake with full southern exposure, but also a short walk away from the lake shore where kite-boarders meet as well as the ocean beaches.

PROPERTY

There are three vacation rental units on the Floras Lake Getaway.

The main house and the apartment on the lower floor of the main house both offer plenty of space, amazing views of the lake.

The 2 bedroom guesthouse is in a separate private building behind the main house.

The luxurious and spacious two-level main house has large picture windows from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the lake including a serene sunrise and sunset sky. The unique decor brings out all the best features of the open-plan living spaces.

The upper level consists of the main kitchen which is fully equipped with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, granite countertops,  and top-level finishes made for any skilled chef opening up to dining for 12 and easy exit to BBQ, and patio dining for further 12.

Expansive living room with high vaulted ceilings, a fire place, a 75 inch 4K TV and  large windows facing the lake as well as sliding doors that open to the outside wrap-around decking. There is also a beautiful game room containing a billiard table and wood burning stove;  The master bedroom and powder room complete the rest of the space on the upper floor.

The lower level includes one king bedroom, a full bathroom and another yet even larger king bedroom with fireplace, pull-out sofa and sliding doors to the lower decking with the hot tub.

A separate 2 room SUITE which can be closed off and entered only from the outside for privacy reasons is also on the lower floor plan. The suite features two queen beds, ensuite full private bathroom featuring spacious walk in shower with rain head and 2 sinks. A separate living room with TV, sofa and dining table in front of a picture window as well as a kitchenette makes this suite the most luxurious private space.

Unique to this property is Redwood Guest House! Equipped with a living, dining, kitchen, one king rooms and a queen room, you’ll marvel at this peaceful location with its own private back yard.

These three separate dwellings benefit extended guest stays allowing communal gatherings with the ability to retreat to the separate suite and guest house.  All homes are self-contained and recently updated with new bathrooms, kitchens, and all new furniture.

1st Master bedroom on upper floor – California King bed and en-suite full private bathroom with walk-in rain shower and free-standing bathtub with lake view

2nd Guest Bedroom on lower floor – King bed and lake view

MAIN HOUSE

The Vacation Rental

This beautiful lakefront vacation rental has a spectacular location on Floras Lake and plenty of room for up to 6 guests plus 2 children.

With a pool table, hot tub, full kitchen, private boat dock, and a welcoming atmosphere, your family will feel right at home here and ready for a wonderful Southern Oregon Coast adventure.

This three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home is a perfect place to spend a relaxing vacation with your loved ones. Have a seat in the living room and admire the view of the lake, sit and chat with your guests, and sip some wine or cocoa while the wood-burning fireplace keeps the space extra cozy.

The Main House

The house is built on two levels.
The upper level has a large fully-equipped kitchen open to the dining area as well as the living room with high ceilings, a large fireplace and expansive windows overlooking the lake. The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom is also on the upper level.

On the lower level of the home there are two large comfortable bedrooms and one full bathroom. Both bedrooms have king sized beds with large windows towards the lake. One of the rooms has an additional pull-out futon sofa for two children. From here, a sliding door opens towards the lower deck facing the lake where the hot tub as well as two additional sun loungers are located..

Amenities

The upper level of the house facing the lake has a large sun-porch as well as a wind protected dining area so you can enjoy this tremendous view all day long, relaxing in comfortable beach chairs, eating your meals at the dining table, resting on loungers or enjoying a barbecue. A gas BBQ is available. A hottub facing the lake is on the lower level.

The new 70 inch 4K TV equipped with Netflix streaming and more is in the living room on the upper level. A second TV, DVD player and fireplace is in the large bedroom downstairs. You can also grab a book from the well-stocked shelves or access the free WiFi to keep in touch or check your email. A pool table in another room on the upper level provides indoor activity for all.

APARTMENT

Overview

Come experience quiet solitude by the water at this fully-remodeled, stylish apartment right on the shore of Floras Lake. Located on the lower floor of the house with a private deck and incredible views, the space is large enough for 2 to 4 guests.
You’re sure to enjoy this charming lakefront getaway . In winter, relax inside and watch for storms over the lake, go fishing, or take a stroll on the beach. In the summer, head out for days of fun on the water.

The Apartment

Separate Entrance and private Deck
The apartment has the best views of the entire house. It is very spacious with a living area including table for up to 4 people. The apartment is newly renovated.
The small kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster as well as blender. Enough to fix a small dinner. The bedroom has two new comfortable queen beds.

Amenities

Sit outside on the private deck in front of the apartment to enjoy this tremendous view all day long, relax in the garden or walk down to the lake front along a private trail. From here you can access the private boat dock to take a swim in the lake.
A TV with an apple TV box enables netflix, amazon prime or itunes streaming. Free Wifi is also available.
